La storia del 29enne Jered Threatin Eames ha dell’incredibile per quanto bizzarra e assurda possa essere. Diventare una rockstar è veramente difficile al giorno d’oggi, allora Jared ha pensato ad una strada alternativa molto più veloce: l’auto celebrazione. Era tutto finto, dall’etichetta discografica ai sold out che in realtà erano locali completamente vuoti ed affittati per girare i video da pubblicizzare online.
Il messaggio lasciato successivamente allo “sgamo” dalla rockstar fake è stato:
“Che cos’è una fake news? “Ho trasformato una sala vuota in un caso mediatico internazionale. Se stai leggendo queste parole, sei parte dell’illusione”.
